This month’s Products We Love features one of our Sales & Marketing Coordinators, Brooke Bostic, CAS.

Brooke is an immensely-talented, natural charmer with a contagiously-positive mindset and go-getter attitude who specializes in working with tech companies to satisfy any and all of their promotional product needs.

We pride ourselves on our passion for all the work we do here at TCB, big or small. Sometimes, there are specific projects that really resonate with our mission, especially at a time when they hit close to home.

For this reason and in celebration of Women’s History Month, Brooke chose to highlight Collabera’s Women’s Day Totes for our March edition of Products We Love!

“For this particular project, they relied on our design services to create a one-of-a-kind giveaway for International Women’s Day,” Brooke explained. “We shipped almost 500 bags nationwide and internationally,” Brooke explained.

TCB differs from other promotional products business in that we offer complimentary in-house design services to all of our clients. This particular bag was “collabera”-ted on by our Sales and Marketing Departments and designed by Marketing Assistant, Natalie Irula.

The artwork is only one part of the process, though! In line with our mission, Brooke took the extra time to put together virtual proofs of the design on various hats and totes from our network of carefully vetted and trusted suppliers.

The tote canvas tote bag with green accented handles was ultimately chosen out of a presentation of 10 bags. This is the TCB difference. We’re unafraid to go that extra mile for our clients.

“As with most large companies we work with, they bid out various promotional products suppliers to see all options and pricing,” shared Brooke.

“We are happy to say that we won this project. It is extra meaningful to us because we are a certified women-owned business by WBENC [Women in Business Enterprise National Council], SBA WOSB [Small Business Administration Women-Owned Business Association] and the state of Pennsylvania, and this was a project for International Women’s Day.”

Over the years working together on countless projects from tech products to office items, apparel, giveaways and many more, Collabera has become one of our most valued clients.

“Melissa [TCB President & Founder] came to them about ten years ago. Since then, they have expanded their business into different companies and we provide promotional products for all of them,” expanded Brooke.

“They love fresh, new ideas and our drop shipping services the most. We offer them very competitive pricing to honor our partnership as well as design services, quick turnaround times, and almost immediate responsiveness.”

However, things don’t always go exactly as planned and we pride ourselves on our ability to rise to those challenges when they happen.

Brooke revealed that she faced a tight timeline with order input and an unexpected illness circulating our screen printer’s office that resulted in a two-day delay on order entry while working on this project.

“Due to our relationship with the screen printer, we were able to have them rush the proof and production to meet our client’s event date,” Brooke added. “We were short shipped, so we had to quickly turnaround additional pieces within three days.”

“Overall, we successfully delivered by their event date, an important company-wide celebration. We quickly adjusted shipping methods, re-did the labels and got the packages out the door!”

Looking back on the project overall, only one word came to Brooke’s mind: Pride.

“This client challenges us and our abilities with tight turnaround times and I am happy to say that all products were delivered on time, without any major issue to the client.”
